i am an unconventionally trained photographer rooted in a duality of realism and dreaming. my background in and respect for science and its processes have fostered my curiosity and creativity that ebbs and flows with what is at hand, resilient and purposeful.

initially trained as a scientist at university, but eventually finding the need to reinvent myself, i remain curious about the world around me. specifically honing in on the quality and placement of light in all its forms and the individuals who navigate within the frame.
i am interested in scenes that are grounded yet playful, and in post may alter colors, quality of light, and might build additions within the frame. uncomplicated is always the goal.
